Paul Woolner Album Preview Concert | April 11 | Marsh Street Centre

On April 11, longtime Escarpment Corridor Alliance volunteer and supporter Paul Woolner brings his full band to the Marsh Street Centre in Clarksburg for a special Album Preview Concert, with proceeds supporting the work of the Escarpment Corridor Alliance. The album, titled Memory Like Water, features warm, spare arrangements and thoughtful songs. Two singles from the album, along with their accompanying videos, are available online now. The videos celebrate the South Georgian Bay area and the Niagara Escarpment.

For the past five years, Paul has been an active volunteer and member of the ECA, serving on the Talisman & Beaver Valley Preservation Committee, while also supporting the Alliance through fundraising, advocacy, and music. This concert marks Paul’s second benefit performance for the ECA, following the beloved For the Love of the Valley concert, which raised both funds and awareness for Escarpment protection. With his music now distributed globally by Sony Music’s, The Orchard, and represented by LL Artists, Paul continues to raise awareness and support for the Escarpment Corridor Alliance well beyond the Beaver Valley.

When asked why they volunteer and support the ECA, Paul and his wife Roberta shared:

“There are two reasons: We see a once in a generation opportunity and responsibility to conserve the South Georgian Bay Niagara Escarpment for the public good. If we fail to meet the challenge, there is no second chance. Looking generations ahead, this work is for their well being and the inspiration that comes from being able to walk among the ancient rock forms and the forests of the Escarpment. Secondly, the ECA and its people are a trustworthy, focused organization operating with the competence, character and commitment that this task demands.”

Together, their work reflects a shared belief in community care, land stewardship, and leaving things better for those who come next.

The evening will begin with a front-to-back performance of Paul’s upcoming album Memory Like Water. The ECA’s Executive Director, Jarvis Strong, will then provide a brief community update on the ECA’s progress, followed by an after-party groove and dance with local favourites Easy Tiger.

We hope you’ll join us for an evening where music, place, and purpose come together in support of the Escarpment we all cherish.
