With over 25 years of marketing and business development experience in health & wellness and community economic development. His expertise in online and social media marketing grew through his work with several digital agencies and well known brands, he also founded a content/digital division at Influence Marketing and started multiple sports nutrition companies.
Previously, he led marketing and economic development for the Town of Collingwood for seven years, repositioning it as a hub for entrepreneurs and developing key initiatives such as the Business Development Centre and Tech Hub North.
Currently, Martin is President of Duntroon Highlands Resort Ltd. He has competed in several sports internationally and at world championships including triathlon and Eco-Challenge adventure racing. Martin spends his free time enjoying nature with his family and friends and thus has developed an intimate knowledge of the natural assets in South Georgian Bay through biking, running, backcountry skiing, cross country skiing, kayaking, surfing, sailing, building trails and open water swimming.
